Purpose: The purpose of this class is to introduce the Business Professional to techniques for maintaining control of their Business network.

Pre-requisite course: Wireless Networking for a Small Business

Topics Covered: This class will cover the basic foundation blocks for some of the options the Business Professional has to control the Business network environment. Areas that are covered are security and restricted access on both the computer and the router platforms.

• Introduction to computer identifications
• Introduction to IP v4/v6
• Introduction to URL's
• Introduction to MAC Addresses
• Basic Router Rules Configuration
• Basic Router Filtering Configuration
• Basic Router Backup and Recovery
